Deluxe wedding cars is a family run business established in 2013. We started off by offering our 1965 13 window deluxe VW campervan ‘Candy’ for wedding hire in Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London. We have changed our fleet over the years but we have kept Candy as our firm favourite to provide luxury classic retro transport for you and your wedding party.

Candy has had an ‘out of season’ body makeover and is presented more stunning than usual. The ‘Candy Apple’ red compliments a range of bridal colours and is elegant in any wedding setting including classic church settings, the popular barn setting or a rustic outdoor marque or open air setting. Whatever your choice Candy can transform with fresh flowers and ribbons to accommodate your theme.

Candy is a classic VW split screen campervan and reached these shores after originally residing in San Francisco, with her traditional old English white and stunning Candy apple red paintwork she really is stunning.
Candy’s exterior is complemented by her white fluted interior and real wood flooring, she comes with everything you may need on your journey from refreshments, tissues, mints, sweets for the little ones, Bluetooth speaker, umbrellas and blankets for those winter weddings and period accessories and props for wedding photo opportunities.
We know you will love her as much as we do.
* Candy can accommodate up to six passengers plus chauffeur.
CANDY & Friends
Candy is happy to do a number of transfers from your home to your ceremony and onwards to your reception venue and wait for a short period afterwards to ensure you get the pictures you or your photographer would like for your wedding memories.
If required Candy can also do a number of trips – bridesmaids, groomsmen, then parents, then Bride and her escort but this will very much depend on the distance between venues and the time available.
Candy has lots of friends that we will contact and arrange on your behalf if you need additional vehicles to transport your bridal / groom party.
A selection of available friends include – VW Campervans, VW Beetles (hardtop and soft top) limosines, jaguars and a classic mini.
CANDY for all weddings
Candy is versatile and able to be flexible to cover all your wedding needs.
There is ample cabin space to accommodate large wedding dresses, top hats, bouquets or other items a bride or groom might like to have with them. We have had family dogs (well behaved of course) and grandparents – we can provide a step to allow easier access if required.
Candy loves transporting Brides, grooms, bridesmaids, groomsmen and parents or escorts of the bridal party and any combination can be accommodated quite easily, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide whatever you need to ensure your wedding transport is smooth and bespoke for your needs.
CANDY and funerals
Candy, whilst vibrant and colourful is also classic, retro and stylish.
The loss of a loved family member or friend is a very sad occasion and funerals or celebrations of their life can be very sombre but extremely important.
At the right occasion and in the right circumstances Candy is available to transport mourners to and from Churches, Crematoriums or wakes.
Black ribbons can be attached to the front of Candy. Utmost respect and attention to care is afforded to mourners attending the ceremony of their loved ones.
